Why I Wanted To Be A Coach?

Over the past 20 years, I have worked with more than 150 executives, leaders, and professionals from various backgrounds, cultures, and styles

Throughout my interactions, I believe each person has a specific life purpose. Along with it, they have a unique gift and a talent that they bring to this world. Therefore, I like to help my clients uncover their purpose and create an environment to help them become the best version of themselves that unleashes their full potential.

This experience is like watching a beautiful garden blooming every day. In every coaching session, there is such a magical moment. I help clients to remember their dreams and then help them to get there.

What I do is facilitate a process of helping people to think ‘big and bold.’ Moreover, it allows them to see their potential to achieve their dreams confidently. In my book, anything is possible. There are only different journeys to get there.

This journey reminds me of a sailboat docked at a safe harbor. As an alternative scenario, the boat sails to new horizons to continue exploring, learning, and growing. Sailing is similar to a coaching journey. It may represent a new beginning, exploring new adventures and new learnings. It all starts with;

  • Getting out of a comfort zone; “the safe harbor”;
  • Setting a goal, “a destination to go”;
  • Knowing the true north– our values to navigate our journey, “the compass.”

The boat may face some obstacles – ‘limiting beliefs, ‘mindsets,’ ‘patterns,’ and ‘things holding it back.’

The coaching journey brings awareness to individuals. Therefore, it helps make adjustments, shifts, and changes to reach goals faster and fluently. It all starts with setting a goal. The next step is to explore, learn, change, and take action. Finally, the outcome is: reaching goals, increasing self-confidence, effectiveness in daily life, engagement, and a fulfilling, balanced life.
